Overview

Offered as an in-house programme, this is a useful refresher course and does not include the examination (as required in the IRCA-approved Internal Auditor course). This is an interactive and practical course designed to refresh delegates' skills in auditing Quality Management Systems (QMS) in order to:

  • Enhance effective auditing techniques and review supportive documentation
  • Refresh skills to assess the compliance of an organisation
  • Update on audit best practice principles

Course Objectives

This in-house course will equip delegates with current knowledge of the requirements and principles of ISO 9001, providing quality practitioners and systems auditors with a refreshed outlook to perform internal QMS audits.

Through the combination of interactive tutorials, practical workshops and case studies following the stages in a live audit, our course will enable the delegates to:

  • Acknowledge the interrelationship between business, good management practice and other common criteria.
  • Measure the application and effectiveness of the QMS against those criteria important to the business.

    • Communicating and presenting audit reports
    • Corrective actions and effective follow-up programmes
    • Effective improvement - planning, monitoring and results
  • The evaluation of data collection and analysis systems, including customer satisfaction, goal achievement and process monitoring
  • Sources of information and further development
